2D to 3D animal jigsaws

This morning I got the 2 and 3 piece  puzzles out and we matched them , made animal noises and then I remembered a game I used to play with my eldest son. This game involved flash cards but is easily adapted to th puzzles . We would get 3D versions of the 2D images and match them.

Sometimes he mixes up some animals like a cow and a sheep but generally he took to this activity really well. He started role playing with the animals himself. I tried to record him going through them saying their name and making the sound but he wasn't in the performing Mood.
