Baby Sensory: M is for Marshmallows

This was a quick activity that we will extend. But marshmallows are great fun to play with, eat, touch and good art & craft materials.

Both boys eat them mostly. I am looking at more ways to have fun with marshmallows.

Marshmallow hearts

A good way to encourage my so. To use fine motor skills and develop patience by carefully placing marshmallows around the edge of the heart.  It also helps him to learn the terminology for discussing shapes ie edges and hopefully reinforce his ability to recall how to draw a heart.

Plus we get to est marshmallows.
