Masher Medics

Dylan was playing with Woody from Toystory and pretended he had a ripped arm like in the movie. I said do we need to fix him? He replied yes. I said we can get the doctor stuff out and you can fix all the toys like Doc Mcstuffin. He then said "I know we can use the mashers as I can fix them together".

So I set up the stuff
Plasters
Elastic bands
Lollipop sticks
Dr set
Tape
Bandage

Then he wanted to fix buzz and woody too as Zac his brother was playing with them .

They played for a good 15 mins.

This was about 9:30am Sunday morning and they were still in pjs .

I was surprised Zac sat still for so long as he is 20months.
Dylan enjoyed using the elastic bands to attach the splint (lollipop stick). He also managed to open and used the plasters which he loved.
We drew around the toys with chalk and pretended they were X-rays.

As always not planned and loads of fun.

Bubble Bath Body Building

Today Dylan started playing with his avenger mahers again and wanted to take then in the bath . Whilst he was playing I thought of a game where he would assemble them but without the ability to see them. Do we made loads of bubbles and pulled the avengers apart and he searched for the body bits abmnd built them.
Then he made a song up:-
Six Super avengers standing on the bath,
One fell off and made us laugh (my contribution)
Until there were none.

He loved knocking them off.

Chocolate bran flakes nest

Love making cornflake cakes and I was inspired by some nest cup cakes to make easter nests with the mini eggs we had. We had no cornflakes so we used branflakes. Healthier and didn't takes too bad.

So I got Dylan (4.4) to break up the chocolate and we monitored it in the microwave . He then mixed the branflakes in with a squirt or two of golden syrup. He started off mixing well but got tired so I finished it off. We chose green cup cake cases and he spooned the mixture into them then added a couple of eggs. I pressed down in the middle to create a little well for the eggs. Left to set an then enjoyed.  Nice , easy , quick Easter activity.

Fruity Cars

Dylan is doing s transport topic at preschool and he often asks to create things out of fruit so we made a car out of apples and grapes.

Easy to do and made him smile whilst enjoying his fruit .
