This is what is in ours: foam, felt, card, paper hearts. Pipe cleaner with beads/ Cheerios , heart shapes, wool, love heart sweets.
Sensory checklist
Sight: different sized and textured hearts
Hearing: use of musical instrument and singing about love and hearts
Taste: heart shaped food like biscuits , melon, cucumber, jam sandwiches
Touch: feel the different textured hearts and the shape of it
Smell: the smell of the different foods. A sensory bin with rice could be scented with a valentines smell like rose or chocolate.
Art/craft: paint with heart potato stamps or kitchen roll heart stamp. Make handprint/footprint hearts.
